USA - Hawaii & San Francisco

My first stop was Honolulu and I elected to stay some way out of town, in the rainforest. I was located a 15 minute walk after the end of the bus line, so didn't get anywhere near a beach.
In San Francisco I was staying out at Richmond, an hour by train from the airport. Again, I did not leave enough time to go into the usual tourist haunts.
